Best Luxury Cycling Tour Operator in the World 2025
The Tour has never started in Scotland. In 2027 it does, and you are there for the start.
Team presentations are always exciting. First time riders and veterans alike are presented to the crowd under Edinburgh Castle, and we have VIP grandstand seats locked away for you to be there.
We ride out of Edinburgh on the stage 1 route into the Borders, and there is a very special, exclusive evening on the Thursday night. We can't say too much yet.
Over the three British stages we ride and drive the official route with crowds cheering for you, watch the speed of the peloton into Liverpool from VIP hospitality, and wander through the team buses at Welshpool. All in Mummu style, led by Stuey, who draws his own crowd.

Stuart O'Grady OAM OLY
Along the way, you’ll connect with a cycling legend who knows the sport’s grand stages inside and out.
Stuart O’Grady is more than a cycling legend. He is the Race Director of the Santos Tour Down Under, a partner and shareholder in Mummu, and the bridge between fans and the heartbeat of the peloton.
From riding 17 Tours de France to conquering Paris-Roubaix, Stuart has lived the moments every cycling fan dreams of. But it’s not just what he won. It’s what he knows. The tension in the team bus before a stage. The silent signals in a breakaway. The thunder of wheels rushing by, inches from the barriers.
Stuart’s insight comes from being deep inside the sport, not watching from the sidelines. Whether he’s guiding you on the road or sharing stories face-to-face, he opens doors that no one else can. With Stuart in the mix, Mummu delivers more than access. He delivers moments that become part of your own cycling story.
Edinburgh has never hosted the Tour. The first yellow jersey is decided in Carlisle, beside the castle, after 185 kilometres through the Scottish Borders.
Stage 2 runs 223 kilometres from Keswick through the Lake District and the Forest of Bowland to a finish on The Strand in Liverpool. Stage 3 is the hardest of the British opening, 223 kilometres and seven categorised climbs from Welshpool to Cardiff, with the Côte de Caerffili twelve kilometres from the line.
Then the race crosses to France, and you head home from Manchester.

The paddock at a Tour de France stage start operates on a schedule that most spectators never see. Ninety minutes before the official departure, the area behind the sign-on podium is already active.
