Why This Stage Matters
Almost flat and nearly twice the length of the first time trial, so the specialists can take big chunks of time out of the climbers. It sets the overall standings going into the second rest day and the final week in the mountains.
The Route
Stage 15 runs 37.3 km from the Autodromo Nazionale in Monza to Milan with 150 metres of climbing, on Sunday 23 May. The organiser rates it three out of five for difficulty. The second rest day follows on Monday 24 May.
