As the 2007 Paris-Roubaix winner and a 17-time Tour de France contender, Stuey not only designs and hosts all our tours but also offers invaluable insights on the cobbles of Flanders and the challenging Roubaix pavé. Day 1

Johan Museeuw welcomes us to Belgium!

April 4, 2025 / Difficulty

This morning, the Mummu Cycling team will meet you at Oudenaarde train station at 10am. We’ll stop at a supermarket to grab some lunch and snacks before we transfer to our accommodation just outside the center of Oudenaarde. This year, our hotel is exceptionally special as it is situated directly on the renowned Oude Kwaremont cobbled climb. This prime location means that on race day, there’s no need to worry about navigating through traffic – we’ll already be perfectly positioned to walk to our VIP hospitality area!

After checking in and settling into the hotel, our team will meet you in the designated bike room to make sure your bikes are set up and ready for action. Today you’ll be joined by a very special guest – none other than the cycling legend, ‘Lion of Flanders’ Johan Museeuw! We’ll have a meet and greet at the hotel where he’ll share some stories from his extraordinary professional cycling career. We’ll then head out for a warmup ride with Johan to stretch our legs in preparation for tomorrow’s Ronde van Vlaanderen Cyclo.

After what promises to be an unforgettable day, we’ll come together for a group dinner hosted by Stuart O’Grady. He’ll provide an overview of what to expect on this exciting trip and gladly share tips and tricks for navigating the cobblestones. This will be a great opportunity to get to know one another and discuss the thrilling adventures that lie ahead!

This morning, the Mummu Cycling team will meet you at Oudenaarde train station at 10am. Ronde van Vlaanderen Cyclo (Flanders Sportive ride)

/ Distance Ronde Van Vlaanderen Cyclo – 130km or 74km

After an early breakfast, you’ll ride out to the start location of the Ronde Van Vlaanderen Cyclo sportive ride. Each year, over 10,000 participants gather in Oudenaarde, creating a festive atmosphere and a supportive, pro-inspired environment throughout the race.

Today, you have a rare chance to ride a course similar to the pros, tackling many of the iconic cobbled climbs that define this race and region, including the Koppenberg, Oude Kwaremont, and the steep Paterberg.

Stuart will be available to provide a briefing and share exclusive tips on how to conquer the cobbled bergs you’ll encounter. After completing your ride, we’ll spend the afternoon in Oudenaarde, soaking in the atmosphere and exploring the exclusive fan zone at the finish.

At tonight’s group dinner, we’ll savour some well-deserved food and drinks while enjoying the thrilling stories of your experiences from today’s iconic ride.

While our riding guests are on course, you’ll spend the day in the vibrant small city of Oudenaarde, enjoying the lively atmosphere and stalls at the exclusive fan zone located at the finish line of the sportive ride.

At tonight’s group dinner, we’ll savour some well-deserved food and drinks while enjoying the thrilling stories of our cyclists’ experiences from today’s iconic ride.

Tour of Flanders!

/ Distance No ride today as we dedicate the day to spectating Tour of Flanders! 

The day that all of Belgium eagerly anticipates has arrived! The 2025 edition of the Tour of Flanders is happening today, and it promises to be more EPIC than ever. Get ready for an unforgettable experience as you dive into the heart of the excitement.

To make this event even more special, we’ll be watching the race from VIP Flanders hospitality, giving us the best seats in the house to witness Belgium’s most iconic bike race LIVE! This day is always a tour highlight for our guests and we’re sure it will be one for you too!

After breakfast this morning, we’ll walk to our prime viewing spot on the legendary Oude Kwaremont cobbled climb! Here, you will have the opportunity to experience the incredibly lively atmosphere that Belgium never ceases to deliver, among like-minded, cycling-mad crowds of passionate fans. Ride part of the Flèche Wallonne route

This morning following breakfast and check out, we will kit up and transfer out to Huy. Here we will ride the last 64km of the Flèche Wallonne route including the infamous Mur de Huy.

After the ride we will cross borders from Belgium into the Netherlands and transfer to our new hotel in Valkenburg where you can check in and freshen up.

This evening, we’ll gather again for a group dinner.

Ride part of the Flèche Wallonne route

April 7, 2025

After breakfast and check-out this morning, we will head to Huy.

While our cyclists tackle part of the Flèche Wallonne route, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the Citadel or Fort of Huy, also known as The Castle, a historic World War II landmark & memorial.

The fort also offers stunning panoramic views of the winding Meuse River, the city of Huy, and its surroundings. Afterward, you can enjoy lunch at your leisure at a nearby restaurant before we link back up with the riders to transfer to Valkenburg.

This evening, we’ll gather again for a group dinner.

Ride part of the Amstel Gold Race route

/ Distance 80km

After a hearty breakfast we will head out from the hotel and ride 80kms of the Amstel gold Race route. The Amstel Gold Race is the youngest of the Classics and is the only one located in the Netherlands. It traditionally signals a shift in the spring classics, where climbers and stage racers take centre stage over the cobbled classics specialists

You’ll get to ride 80 kilometers of the race route and some of the famous climbs of this race covering over 1000m of climbing including Wolfsberg from Noorbeek, Loorberg, Kruisberg and Eyserbosweg before heading back into Valkenberg

Following another exhilarating day, this evening will be yours to relax and enjoy at your leisure.

Ride part of the Amstel Gold Race route

April 8, 2025

Today, our cyclists will set out from the hotel, riding along part of the Amstel Gold Race route.

With a later start, you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy a leisurely breakfast and explore the charming city of Valkenburg, famous for its natural beauty and historic architecture. We’ll also visit Gemeentegrot, a fascinating marl quarry with over 50 kilometers of underground passages. This quarry, initially created by Roman-era marl mining, has served various purposes throughout history, including air raid shelters, mushroom farms, a war factory, and even a hidden church.

After lunch at your leisure, we’ll head back to the hotel to reunite with the riders. The rest of the evening is yours to relax and unwind at your own pace

Ride part of the Liège-Bastogne-Liège route

/ Distance 66km

This morning after breakfast we’ll check out of the hotel, dressed ready to ride. We will transfer you out to Liege where you’ll get the chance to ride part of the famous Liège–Bastogne–Liège route.

You’ll have the opportunity to ride 66 kilometres of this iconic race route, tackling over 1,000 meters of climbing. Our journey starts in Liège, where we’ll ascend the Côte des Forges, the race’s most famous climb, the Côte de la Redoute, and the Côte de la Roche-aux-Faucons before returning to the city.

We’ll then transfer onto Roubaix and check into our new hotel. The evening will be yours to relax and explore the city of Roubaix.

Ride part of the Liège-Bastogne-Liège route

April 9, 2025

This morning after breakfast we’ll check out of the hotel. We will transfer you out to Liege where our cyclists will get the chance to ride part of the famous Liège–Bastogne–Liège route.

You will have the opportunity to do a walking tour of the city – the second-largest city in the French-speaking region of Wallonia in Belgium, and also the third largest river port on the continent.  Known as the “Fiery city” for its cultural abundance and its warm and festive atmosphere, we’re sure it’ll be an exciting day out.

We’ll then transfer onto Kortrijk and check into our new hotel. The evening will be yours to relax and explore the city of Roubaix.

Ride the roads of Flanders Past!

April 10, 2025 / Difficulty
/ Distance 40km

After breakfast this morning we will transfer by van to the Valenciennes region in Northern France where we will get our first taste of the cobbles of Paris Roubaix. Be sure to pick Stuart’s brain on what to expect on the cobbled roads of the French countryside as they differ greatly from those in Flanders. You’ll be setting off on a group ride to tackle some 5-star sectors of the Paris-Roubaix course, where you will test your legs on the challenging terrain ahead of the Roubaix Challenge in 2 days’ time. Hopefully we’ll get to see some pro teams out on their recon ride!

After the ride, we’ll jump in the vans and drive direct to the velodrome in Roubaix where Stuart will give you a tour of the famous Roubaix showers – a privilege usually reserved only for past winners!

Following this unique experience and some photo opportunities in the iconic shower block we’ll transfer back to our hotel.

This evening will be yours free, to relax and unwind ahead of tomorrow’s early start.

This evening will be yours free, to relax and unwind ahead of tomorrow’s early start.

Easy Ride

Our riders have a gentle ride planned today ready for tomorrow’s big sportive, which means you get a relaxed day too! Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and book some of the hotel spa facilities for a pamper session.

Your friendly Mummu guides will be able to give you some suggestions if you’d like to do some exploring. Visiting La Piscine Museum is a must! The museum features an impressive collection of paintings, sculptures, and decorative arts, including works by Picasso and Matisse.

This evening we will regroup for dinner together at the hotel so be sure to come with an appetite!

Paris-Roubaix Challenge Sportive!

/ Distance Paris Roubaix Sportif - 145km or 70km

Today is set to be a momentous occasion as you ride the Paris-Roubaix Challenge – For many THE Classic race of the year, and the hardest thing you can do on a bicycle! This is your chance to experience the exact route the pros will face in just 24 hours. You’ll tackle the legendary cobbled sectors of Northern France, including the iconic Mons-en-Pévèle, Carrefour de l’Arbre, and the formidable d’Arenberg Forest, all under the expert guidance of 2007 race champion Stuart O’Grady!

After breakfast, we’ll transfer you by van to the start of the Paris-Roubaix Challenge in Roubaix. It’s going to be a tough ride, but be sure to savour every moment!

Upon completing the grueling 145km or 70km ride, you’ll finish in the renowned Roubaix velodrome, where the Mummu Cycling ‘recovery tent’ will greet you with gels, bars, and, of course, beers!

Following the sportive, we’ll also have access to the velodrome to watch the pro women cross the finish line of the Paris–Roubaix Femmes race as welll as have the chance to visit the Paris-Roubaix Museum.

We’ll return to Kortrijk for dinner at your leisure. You might notice several Pro Teams staying at the Parkhotel, so you may want to book a table there.

Hell of the North!

The day we’ve all been waiting for has arrived: the Queen of the Classics is here!

The 122nd edition of the formidable “Hell of the North” Paris-Roubaix promises to be as competitive as ever, and we’ll be there to experience it!1

We’ll kick off the excitement by heading to the legendary Trouée d’Arenberg, securing our spot at the newly inserted chicane at the start of the infamous Arenberg Trench section. We’ll be  enjoy the race live roadside watching the peloton tackle the train tracks and navigate the narrow, rough cobbled roads.

Following the final rider, our VIP-accredited vans will navigate roadblocks to reach the course and the famous Roubaix velodrome. There, we’ll take our place in the Official VIP Hospitality area inside the velodrome, eagerly awaiting the leaders’ arrival. Our VIP experience includes an open bar, lunch, live race coverage on multiple screens, and access to the velodrome lawn for the finish.

After witnessing the crowning of the 2025 Paris-Roubaix champion, we’ll return to our accommodation for our final night. To celebrate and toast to 10 days of Classic adventures, we’ll enjoy a final group dinner!
