As the opening Grand Tour of the season for the professional peloton, the Giro is always a real spectacle to watch, providing back-to-back days of endless entertainment for all lovers of cycling. To add – the race never fails to travel through the most beautiful, stunning regions of Italy; each area lined with enthusiastic, passionate Italian fans!

You will ride alongside the beautiful Lake Como, cruise through the exceptional Dolomites and conquer iconic climbs. Our 2019 Cycling Tours in Italy will be hosted and led by former professional cyclists – Matthew Goss and Stuart O’Grady.
Two-time Giro d’Italia Stage winner Matthew Goss, will be leading the first of our Cycling Tours in Italy – The Coast to Coast Tour.
Starting on Italy’s beautiful Tirreno Coastline and finishing on the Adriatic Coast – this cycling tour in Italy will take in the beauty of Tuscany, Lazio, Abruzzo, Emilia-Romagna and San Marino. To add, Matt will ensure you join the best of the Tifosi and see six stages of the 2019 Giro LIVE, including; stage starts, stage finishes and an Individual Time Trial. When not riding and soaking up the best race moments, you’ll be sipping on Italian vino, enjoying the best of the culture and meeting a Pro Team throughout the week.
Next up – 17 x Tour de France contender and most famously – Paris Roubaix 2007 champion, Stuart O’Grady will be leading our final cycling tour in Italy – a unique GreenEDGE Travel, 2019 Giro Dolomite Explorer experience.
As a former GreenEDGE team member and captain, Stuart will ensure you have the best insider access to the unstoppable Mitchelton-SCOTT squad as they once again chase Grand Tour success!
You will follow the team in their final week and truly feel part of their fight for pink – travelling from the breathtakingly beautiful Lake Como through to the Grand final Individual Time Trial in Verona. It wouldn’t be a true cycling tour in Italy, however without ticking off a few bucket-list climbs and rolling through stunning Prosecco Vineyards along the way! The infamous Mortirolo Pass, Madonna del Ghisallo and Passo San Boldo await…
